LOS ANGELES (CNS) — "Spider-Man: No Way Home" netted another first-place showing at the box office this weekend, pulling in $33 million to lead all films for the fourth week in a row, according to industry estimates released Sunday.

The latest edition of the lucrative film franchise — which stars Tom Holland, Zendaya and Benedict Cumberbatch — has grossed $668 million in the United States and Canada, Comscore reported.

It is by far the highest-grossing film released since the onset of the coronavirus pandemic and surpassed "Titanic" to move into sixth place on the all-time domestic box office list. However, movie tickets cost more now than they did in the 1990s, so that ranking does not mean that more people have seen "Spider-Man: No Way Home" than James Cameron's 1997 epic.

In second place this weekend was the animated film "Sing 2," which grossed $11.9 million Friday through Sunday in its third week in theaters.

The spy thriller "The 355" opened in third place with $4.8 million.

"The King's Man" was fourth with $3.2 million, followed by "American Underdog" with $2.4 million.

Rounding out the top 10 domestic releases, as estimated by Comscore, were "The Matrix Resurrections" ($1.8 million), "West Side Story" ($1.4 million), "Ghostbusters: Afterlife" ($1.1 million), "Licorice Pizza" ($1 million) and "House of Gucci" ($632,000).
