COVID-19 in Maryland| Over 17,000 new cases reported in 24 hours
BALTIMORE, Md. (WBFF) —
The Maryland Department of Health released updated coronavirus numbers Sunday morning.

As of 2:15 p.m., there are 830,940 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Maryland, 17,252 new cases have been reported since Wednesday.
The statewide positivity rate is now 27.83%, an decrease of 1.45%.
Hospitalizations have decreased statewide by 20, bringing a total of 3,286 people hospitalized.
A total of 540 patients are being treated in the ICU, 8 are children.
There have been 11,969 of COVID-19 deaths in the state. To date, 52 Maryland residents have died from COVID-19 in the last 24 hours.
Roughly, 92.6% of the state’s population age 18 and up has gotten one dosage of the vaccination, and 10,534,705 doses have been administered.
