Inside Kate Gosselin’s quiet new life out of the spotlight featuring new nurse career & living lakeside

KATE's Gosselin’s new quiet life out of the spotlight has her working as a nurse while she has been living lakeside with her kids. 

The 46-year-old recently resurfaced for the first time after leaving reality stardom for about three years.

The former Jon and Kate Plus 8 star appears to be living a normal life as a nurse, as she was seen walking her dog in North Carolina. 

In the pictures exclusively obtained by The Sun, the mother of eight was pumping gas into her black Toyota SUV before heading to her job at the medical center. 

She had on a black t-shirt and yoga pants while at the gas station.

According to the photographer, more than one of Kate and Jon’s kids has been working at Chipotle.

It is not confirmed which of Kate's teen children are employed at the fast-food restaurant. 

She currently lives with four of her kids- Leah, Alexis, Joel, and Aaden- who are all 17, and their family dog.

BEING A NURSE

Back in September 2021, the ex TV star had obtained her nursing license after moving to North Carolina. 

The Sun exclusively revealed that Kate had gained her license on June 30th, 2021, according to the North Carolina Board of Nursing. 

The expiration date for her nursing license in that state is March 31, 2023.

Because she previously had a “multi-state license,” Kate practiced nursing in Pennsylvania, which expired at the end of October 2021. 

KATE'S HOME LIFE

Back in April 2018, Kate purchased a lakefront house for $750,000.

The 3,562 square-foot home has four bedrooms and five bathrooms. 

The one-level home has with a family room, a dining room, and a kitchen. 

The kitchen had gray countertops and wood cabinets while the living room has a fireplace.

HER FEUD WITH JON

After Kate resurfaced amid her quiet life, her ex Jon, 44, took to Instagram to "throw shade" at his former baby mama by showing off his life.

Jon shared a throwback photo of himself as he partied at a club alongside his business partners.

The DJ was also holding a bottle of champagne in the snap.

He captioned the post: "At brunch with my business partners @djcasperdjc & @drjendonnell."

Jon pointed an arrow at the woman in the photo and wrote: "Also, congratulations!! I have to call you Dr. Jen now!"

He previously slammed Kate to The Sun for not working during the pandemic. 

Back in April 2020, Jon said: "I have no idea what she's doing for work. I mean you think - as she claims she has her nursing license - that she'd be on the front line. That would be a good idea. Just saying.”

THE COURT BATTLE

Jon and Kate have been involved in a nasty custody battle after they divorced in 2009 after about 10 years of marriage.

Due to their court battles, the co-parents have currently split where their kids must live with either parent.

While Kate has four of her kids, the other two - Collin and Hannah - went to live with their father and have remained with him in Pennsylvania.

In December, Jon decided to represent himself in court. 

The Sun exclusively revealed Jon had filed to drop his lawyers on November 23rd amid their custody battle. 

According to the Pennsylvania court, he is now "in propria persona,” which means he has to represent himself without a lawyer.

COLLEGE GIRLS

Meanwhile, the exes two eldest kids Mady and Cara, both 21, were left out of the custody agreements because they are both legal adults and have headed off to college.

Recently, Mady wore heavy eyeliner in her latest TikTok video.

She was lip-syncing to the song, Primadonna, by Marina and the Diamonds.

Mady captioned her post: "I've got a big ego."
