CINCINNATI — Police arrested a 21-year-old Monday on a murder warrant four months after two men were found shot to death in Bond Hill.

The Cincinnati Police Homicide Unit, alongside the Fugitive Apprehension Squad, arrested Carson Underwood in connection to the deaths of 29-year-old Brice McGlothin and 27-year-old Ameer Mu-Min. Family members said the two men were visiting from San Francisco when they were killed Jan. 8.

"They were going to pick up their jewelry," said Paula McNeal, the mother of McGlothin and godmother of Mu-Min. "They received a phone call saying, 'If you don't come by and get your jewelry it will be forfeited. I told them, 'Go get your jewelry and come right back.' I never thought they’d come back in a body bag.”

According to law enforcement, officers responded to a report of a double-shooting around 7:15 p.m. in the 1600 block of Anita Place. When officers arrived, police said they found McGlothin and Mumin shot. Cincinnati Fire crews responded and determined both victims were dead.

Kemonya Clay, the mother of McGlothin's 5-year-old, said in February their daughter was asking where her father was.

"She's got to grow up without her daddy," Clay said. "She's going to graduate kindergarten — where's her daddy? Her birthday’s coming up — where's her daddy?”

Anyone with more information is asked to call the department's Homicide Unit at 1-513-352-3542.
