The temperature is quickly dropping in Washington D.C. for the NCIS team, but Torres (Wilmer Valderrama) and Knight (Katrina Law) are already looking forward to warmer days ahead in Hawai'i. That’s right — the two special agents have officially booked their flights to meet Tennant (Vanessa Lachey) on NCIS: Hawai’i.

Hours before the CBS drama returned with back-to-back new episodes on Monday night, Wilmer and Katrina shared an exciting announcement on Instagram about their next adventure together. As folks know, since Gibbs’ (Mark Harmon) unexpected departure in the beginning of NCIS season 19, the two special agents have become the show’s new dynamic duo. Now, they’re gearing up to head to the West Coast for an epic reason.

“I am headed off to Hawai'i to shoot a crossover event,” Wilmer said in the clip. “I’ve also got something to tell you: I’m coming to Hawai'i, too,” Katrina added. “It’s going to be good being back on the island solving crimes.”

So far, not much is known about what the crossover NCIS and NCIS: Hawai'i event will entail. We do know that the episode will air later this spring on March 28. In the one-minute clip, Vanessa and the rest of the NCIS: Hawai'i cast gave Wilmer and Katrina a warm welcome.

While neither the NCIS crew nor the NCIS: Hawai'i group spilled more details, fans are ecstatic about the upcoming collaboration. Without skipping a beat, viewers immediately flooded Wilmer’s Instagram comments section with fire emojis, heart emojis and clapping hands emojis.

“HOW EXCITING!!!!! I CANT WAIT!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥,” one person wrote. “Yessss!!! Let’s Goooo!!! 🔥🔥🔥,” another added. “That’s great can’t wait to see this ❤️,” a different fan said. “March is [too] far away!!!” a follower commented.

Although this might be the first time folks will see Wilmer in Hawai'i, his fellow costar Katrina will be returning to the island where she once played Quinn Liu on Hawaii Five-O. Whatever case these two get tasked with, we have a feeling they will get along with the NCIS: Hawai'i gang right away.
