FDA Asked For 75 Years To Produce COVID-19 Vaccine Safety Data

I’ve been very pro COVID-19 vaccine throughout the pandemic.

However, there are many Americans who have reasonable concerns about the fact that a brand new vaccine is being introduced into the human body at warp speed.

It is reasonable that the American people want and expect both speed and transparency in terms of public data being released about the safety of the vaccines.

When the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) formally asked for 75 years to produce safety data to the public, it was one of the most outrageous abuses by a federal government agency in American history.

It was unreasonable, ridiculous and abusive to be given 75 years to disclose safety data.

And, believe it or not … they originally wanted “only” 55 years to produce the safety documents and had the audacity to increase it to 75 years.

A United States Federal Judge agrees.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) will have eight months — not the 75 years it requested — to release all documents related to the licensing of Pfizer’s Comirnaty COVID vaccine, a federal judge ruled this past Thursday.

In his ruling, Federal Judge Mark Pittman of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas, directly quoted President John F. Kennedy, writing, that “a nation that is afraid to let its people judge the truth and falsehood in an open market is a nation that is afraid of its people.”

Judge Pittman rejected the FDA’s claim that it could release redacted versions of documents at a rate of only 500 pages per month, which would have meant the full number of existing documents wouldn’t become available to the public until 2096.

This is happening thanks to a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request filed in August, 2021 by Public Health and Medical Professionals for Transparency (PHMPT), a group of more than 30 medical and public health professionals and scientists from places like Harvard, Yale, and UCLA.

In his four-page order, Judge Pittman ordered the FDA to produce more than 12,000 pages of documents on or before January 31, 2022.

From there, they are required to “produce the remaining documents at a rate of 55,000 pages every 30 days, with the first production being due on or before March 1, 2022, until production is complete.”

Shame on the FDA for thinking that they could get away with slow-walking public disclosure in such a blatant and despicable manner.

Let this also serve notice, that the American people have the power to redress their government when outrageous things like this occur.
