While everyone is moving on from the chaotic energy known as 2021, LeAnn Rimes' New Year's post is giving us every excuse to reminisce on the past year for a bit longer.
The Meet Your Makers Showdown co-host had one heck of a year in 2021. From recording her upcoming studio album God's Work, hand pouring candles, recording her Wholly Human podcast and co-hosting discovery+'s latest craft competition show, LeAnn made the most of her time all while making sure to stay connected with fans.
She took to Instagram to wish everyone a happy new year and let's just say the post had everyone doing double takes. The Blue singer looks stunning in a sheer low-cut, black dress. She's given us so much fashion inspiration over the past year. From her fun tennis tutu, nearly nude dress that she rocked on stage during the Austin City Limits music festival, fall-tastic pumpkin patch get-up and reminding us how to rock a pair of denim shorts with a crop top, LeAnn basically serves looks anytime we see her. You'd think we'd be used to it by now, yet here we are trying to pick our jaws up from the floor after seeing her New Year's ensemble.
Fans, of course, ran to the comments to leave their sweet messages and a flurry of fire emojis for LeAnn. "Looking gorg," said one person. "Happiest new year magical woman ❤️" and "You look stunning as always, my friend," said others.
This year, LeAnn ditched the New Year's Eve parties and opted for a plan that never fails—chilling on the couch in your most comfortable sweats. So, you're probably wondering, "Did LeAnn get dressed up just for the 'gram?" Although it may look that way, the singer's sheer black dress look is from a previous photoshoot that she shared with fans earlier in November of 2021.
After all, she had a very exciting and early morning on New Year's Day as she opened the 2022 Rose Parade with a bang. In true Grammy award-winning fashion, LeAnn stunned fans as she performed "Throw My Arms Around the World" and of course, she looked oh-so-fashionable as she did so.
