New Wilmington CrossFit gym opens, CrossFit Games qualifying stage begins soon

SeaCoast CrossFit, a premier CrossFit gym is now open in Wilmington,  located at the corner of Fifth Avenue and Martin Street.

SeaCoast CrossFit has opened a new gym. The gym offers coach-led group CrossFit classes, personal training, team/corporate training, and nutritional programs.

The facility located at 1316 S. Fifth Ave. in Wilmington, offers 4,300 sq. ft. of space and a complete line of Rogue CrossFit equipment, including 50 ft. of turf and shower facilities.

Jen DePoto, owner and coach, is L1 and L2 CrossFit certified, CrossFit Masters, Crossfit Judge, CrossFit Scaling and USAW L1.

“Opening a CrossFit gym has been a dream of mine for years. CrossFit has been integral in my life, and I truly believe it can bring positive life changes for others as well,” DePoto said.

SeaCoast is open Monday through Friday and offers special classes on Saturdays. 

The CrossFit Open, the first qualifying stage of the CrossFit Games, begins Feb. 24. SeaCoast will be holding Friday Night Lights for members to participate.
