Weekend PC Game Deals: Fresh bundles and post-sale limbo specials

Weekend PC Game Deals is where the hottest gaming deals from all over the internet are gathered into one place, every week, for your consumption. So kick back, relax, and hold on to your wallets.

Another year of Epic Games Store freebies have gone by ending with the Tomb Raider trilogy giveaway. It definitely looks like the giveaways aren"t coming to an end though, as this week the store began a promotion for Gods Will Fall.

This is a dark fantasy hack and slash roguelike that has you tackling various dungeons and their final bosses with a group of warriors of your own. When one of your warriors falls, another takes its place, and beating a dungeon means getting back all your fighters that fell during the run.

Gods Will Fall is free to claim on the Epic Games Store until Thursday, January 13, and waiting to take its place in the freebie slot is a copy of Galactic Civilizations III on the same date.

The first Humble Choice of 2022 landed earlier this week, offering a brand-new set of 10 games to pick from as part of the subscription. The latest offerings can be seen below along with links to their Steam pages if you want a glance at user reviews.

Picking three of the listed games for January means putting down $14.99 as part of the Humble Choice Basic tier and choosing nine games will cost $19.99. Sticking to the old formula, those still with classic Humble Monthly subscriptions can grab ten games for $12.99.

The latest selection will be available on Humble until February 1. In addition to the above games, Choice members also gain the DRM-free Humble Trove collection as well as a bonus 20% discount on games sold on the Humble Store.

Next, we head over to the Fanatical store to look at its latest Pick and Mix Platinum Collection bundle. Similar to the above Humble special, you also make up your own tiers in this one.

Games like Before Your Eyes, Everhood, The Falconeer, Baldur"s Gate Enhanced editions, Lethal League Blaze, Unrailed, Iratus: Lord of the Dead, and many more are available to choose from when making your selections.

There are three packages to go for: picking three games will set you back $9.99 followed by five for $14.99 or seven for $19.99.

Big Deals

Considering most major stores" winter promotions have now gone dark, it"s going to be a few quiet weeks for major sales. If you"re a Prime member though, be sure to grab Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, Total War: Warhammer, World War Z: Aftermath, and the rest of the bonus games from the Amazon subscription for January.

Still, there are straggler deals especially from stores outside of Steam if your wallet has anything remaining after recent weeks. Here are our highlights:

DRM-free Goodness

GOG store is back to its regular schedule of weekly promotions, and here are some highlights from the DRM-free games on offer this weekend:

Keep in mind that availability and pricing for some deals could vary depending on the region.

That"s it for our pick of this weekend"s PC game deals, and hopefully, some of you have enough self-restraint not to keep adding to your ever-growing backlogs. As always, there"s an enormous amount of other deals ready and waiting all over the interwebs as well as in services you may already subscribe to if you comb through them, so keep your eyes open for those, and have a great weekend.
