Good Morning Britain's Susanna Reid 'overtakes Holly Willoughby as the highest paid woman on British TV as she inks new £1.1M deal with ITV'
Susanna Reid has reportedly become the highest paid woman on British TV, after inking a new £1.1 million per year deal with ITV to stay on Good Morning Britain.
The Sun reports that the presenter, 51, now out-earns Holly Willoughby, who allegedly rakes in £730,000 a year for her This Morning role in comparison.
The publication states that the star's contract with ITV ended in November, but that she 'dug her heels in' until she finally signed a new deal this week.

Speaking to The Sun, a source said: 'She knows she is a huge part of the show and is increasingly involved in the day-to-day decisions too, alongside her presenting role.
'Plus there is already uncertainty over who will co-anchor long term after Piers Morgan left last year, so she was definitely in a strong position.

'Bosses rate her highly and wanted to keep her, but she didn’t agree straight away. She’s certainly played a strong negotiating game and it has worked out for her.'

The mum-of-three first joined Good Morning Britain in 2014, before she joined up with Piers Morgan the following year.
Their popular partnership helped boost ratings to reach the levels of their long time rival BBC Breakfast.
After Piers famously waked out of the show last year, Susanna was left without a permanent co-host, and has since been paired with presenters Ben Shephard, Kate Garraway and Ranvir Singh plus guest hosts including Richard Madeley and Adil Ray.
Other highly-paid women on TV vying for the top spot include Amanda Holden, who is said to be on £700,000 a year,
Her Britain's Got Talent co-star Alesha Dixon is thought to be on £450,000, while Fiona Bruce is allegedly narrowly behind on £405,000.
Meanwhile the top earners on TV are still thought to be Ant and Dec, who are said to have a £40 million three-year deal between them and ITV.
This means they each earn £6.6 million to present TV’s biggest entertainment shows Britain’s Got Talent, I’m A Celebrity . . . Get Me Out of Here!, Saturday Night Takeaway and new TV show Limitless Win.
