Apple Releases Full Dramatic Trailer for THE TRAGEDY OF MACBETH Starring Denzel Washington and Frances McDormand
Apple has released the full trailer for the dramatic film adaptation of Shakespeare’s classic tale The Tragedy of Macbeth. The film stars Academy Award-winning actors Denzel Washington and Frances McDormand, in the lead roles of Lord and Lady Macbeth, and they are joined by Bertie Carvel, Alex Hassell, Corey Hawkins, Harry Melling, Brendan Gleeson, Moses Ingram, and Kathryn Hunter.

A Scottish lord becomes convinced by a trio of witches that he will become the next King of Scotland, and his ambitious wife supports him in his plans of seizing power.
The Tragedy of Macbeth is directed and adapted for the screen by Joel Coen, of the Coen Brothers, making his solo debut (No Country for Old Men, Burn After Reading, True Grit, Inside Llewyn Davis, Hail Caesar!, The Ballad of Buster Scruggs). The film is produced by Joel Coen, Robert Graf, and Frances McDormand. This looks like it’s going to be a fantastic adaptation. Who could ask for better stars to tell this story?
The Tragedy of Macbeth is in select US theaters now, and is set to stream on Apple TV+ on January 14th, 2022.
