The actress shared her first on-screen kiss with her future husband and kept in touch with him years after the series wrapped in 2006. Though they had a mutual connection when they first met, Ashton and Mila initially pursued other relationships. He married actress Demi Moore in 2005 and the couple were officially divorced in 2013. Mila dated Home Alone star Macaulay Culkin from 2002 to 2011. Both single and moving on from their previous relationships, Ashton and Mila reconnected at the 2012 Golden Globe Awards. Starting off their relationship as friends first, Mila never expected that things would turn out the way that they did. Once she realized the pair had a deep connection, she opened herself up to the idea of a relationship.

And I was really proud of myself for acknowledging that,” the Family Guy star told Marie Claire in June 2014. “The best day of my life so far was the proposal. I cried. I was a mess. The mother of two never anticipated getting married. Meeting Ashton changed her whole perspective on walking down the aisle.

Ahead of Wyatt’s arrival, Ashton wanted to make sure Mila had plenty of snacks at home in case she had any pregnancy cravings.
