Super Rare Games have announced that they’ll be launching a physical bundle for the Nintendo Switch version of Bloodroots, a one hit kill hack and slash game that’s sure to provide hours of gory fun on the go. Check out the Switch trailer at the top of the page.
What Is Bloodroots?
As mentioned, Bloodroots is a one hit kill, die and retry hack and slash title that perhaps bears the closest resemblance to Hotline Miami. Players are even encouraged to use weapons scattered around the environment to slaughter the hordes of foes standing in your way.
You play as Mr. Wolf, a strong and mysterious warrior who’s betrayed and left for dead. Recovered and out for vengeance, you must cut a bloody swathe through the Weird West, hacking to pieces all the bandits, outlaws and foes standing in your way.
What’s So Special About The Physical Version?
The physical release of Bloodroots from Super Rare Games will include the full game plus “a full-colour manual, interior artwork, an exclusive sticker, and trading cards”. The game will go on sale at 6pm GMT/10am PT/1pm ET on January 13th, though beware as only 4000 copies will be made available.
