It's a Sin star Olly Alexander has pulled out of The Graham Norton Show.

The actor and singer confirmed that he would no longer appear on tonight's (January 7) episode of The Graham Norton Show on Instagram, telling followers that he's isolating after testing positive for COVID-19.

The Years and Years favourite, who hosted The Big New Years & Years Eve Party last week, reassured fans that his symptoms "haven't been bad" and he's "almost back to fighting fit".

In a post shared on Instagram Stories, Olly wrote: "I tested positive for [COVID-19] over a week ago. I was hoping I'd test negative and get to end isolation early but alas no...

"My symptoms thankfully haven't been bad and I'm a boosted baby so that's good. I love Graham and singing so it's a bit sad but I'm almost back to fighting fit".

Olly also revealed how he'd been spending his time at home while recovering, with TV shows Dark and Sex and the City spin-off And Just Like That on the agenda.

Although Olly will no doubt be missed by viewers, The Graham Norton Show must, of course, go on.

Martin Freeman will be among Graham's celebrity guests this evening, as he promotes his new drama The Responder, a five-part series about an emergency first responder.

Denzel Washington, Nina Sosanya, comic Josh Widdicombe, and singer-songwriter James Morrison will all be on the show too.

The Graham Norton Show airs tonight (January 7) at 10.35pm on BBC One and the BBC iPlayer.
