Emmerdale spoilers follow.
Emmerdale's Amy Walsh has shared details of Tracy Metcalfe's imminent exit storyline.
In scenes airing next week, it'll come out that Amy has been been offered a job opportunity in Nottingham, leaving the father of her child Nate Robinson heartbroken.
"Tracy is invited to speak at a seminar on postnatal depression, about her experiences and at the end of the session, she is asked if she'd be interested in joining the charity," the soap actress revealed.

"Obviously her first instinct is that she's not experienced enough. You know, she's not medically trained. How can she possibly give anything back? But I think her overall and overriding desire to help other people that have been through what she's been through, has come to the forefront with this."
Explaining why this particular role speaks to her character, Walsh added: "She's really passionate about people knowing that they can get through it. It's not a hopeless cause.
"That's what drives her forward in changing her life so much in the sense of leaving the village and leaving Nate and taking Frankie, because it's a chance not only for her to feel good about herself and change her life, but also to not rely on another man to let her down again.
"But it's also a chance for her to help other people. It's the first time she feels like there's something she could be good at, which I think is really important because she needs that."

After consulting Charity Dingle on whether or not to take the opportunity with both hands, Tracy is met with an incredibly supportive response.
"She's just very encouraging," Walsh explained. "And I think Charity is a character that's obviously taken many, many risks throughout her life, and it sometimes paid off and sometimes hasn't.
"She just sees Charity as someone actually believing in her again, and thinking she can do something good, as opposed to people around her like Vanessa [Woodfield] and Nate, who are worrying and constantly thinking she's not strong enough for this.
"I think it's just come to a point with Tracy where it's like, 'I can't live here anymore with all my exes around me. All the people that have betrayed me or let me down'. Vanessa's been away for a year. Yeah, she's back now, but how long is she going to stay around until she meets someone or swans off again? I think she's just thinking of it like that.
"Obviously, she lost her dad. The village has probably got a lot of pain surrounded by it with her. She probably just needs the break away from it."
Walsh added that she is "quite proud" of her character's decision, saying: "It's hard because I think people make mistakes, and you can work through relationships if they're right, but I also think it's time for her to do things for her and not just be someone's girlfriend or stay at home mum.
"I think it's time for her to take that ownership of her existence, and be the stronger woman and prove to everyone that she can do this."
Emmerdale airs on weeknights at 7pm on ITV, with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursdays.
