Coronation Street spoilers follow.
Coronation Street has hinted that Yasmeen Metcalfe could make an unexpected move with the money laundered through Speed Daal in brand new scenes.
The soap will soon show Yasmeen finally learning the truth about grandson Zeedan's involvement with the laundering scheme through the restaurant, which itself came under threats from father-in-law Hashim.
While Hashim has since died after suffering a heart attack, Alya convinces Zeedan that they should come clean, where they also reveal the truth about Zeedan's involvement in the Speed Daal fire.

A shocked and disgusted Yasmeen eventually disowns her grandchildren over their actions, while Zeedan will also struggle over revealing the truth to his wife Marrium.
In scenes following on from this, Zeedan and Alya plan their next moves after being disowned, and he suggests to his sister that they used the laundered money to pay for somewhere to live. Alya thinks it's a bad idea, however.
Later on, Bernie Winter arrives at the Speed Daal with a collection box for Joseph Brown's appeal after the youngster goes missing – Chesney's son has run away amid bullying struggles at school, with an appeal subsequently set up to find information.

Yasmeen eyes up the box, while Ryan Connor later reveals that an anonymous donation of £30,000 has been made. This leaves Zeedan and Alya suspicious that their grandmother has taken Hashim's laundered money and given it to the cause.
Are they on to something about Yasmeen and what will they do next?
Coronation Street airs these scenes on Friday, January 14 at 7.30pm on ITV.
