Watch: "The One And Only" Shares Behind-The-Scenes Look At Ahn Eun Jin And Kim Kyung Nam's Hongdae Date

JTBC has released a behind-the-scenes look at Ahn Eun Jin and Kim Kyung Nam’s date in “The One and Only”!

“The One and Only” stars Ahn Eun Jin, Red Velvet’s Joy, and Kang Ye Won as three terminally ill women who meet at a hospice. With the help of a contract killer (Kim Kyung Nam), the three women decide to take down one bad person in their lives before they die—but in taking down just “one bad person,” they end up meeting the most valuable person of their lives.

Ahn Eun Jin’s character, Pyo In Sook, has been dealt a bad hand in life, growing up in poverty and unable to find a real full-time job even before she was suddenly diagnosed with a terminal illness. Her hardships have left her cold and emotionless, but her life changes when she starts to fall for Min Woo Chun (Kim Kyung Nam).

The behind-the-scenes video shares a look at the filming of Pyo In Sook and Min Woo Chun’s date in Hongdae, a trendy neighborhood in Seoul, in episodes 5-6. The two characters go to a tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes) restaurant, only to find that neither of them has any cash. On the street, the director puts a T-shaped hacky sack to show where Kim Kyung Nam should stand, and he looks down at the hacky sack and says, “This isn’t mine, though?” The hacky sack is labeled with Ahn Eun Jin’s character’s name, and she playfully shoves him aside and says, “This is my spot!” as the director reassures them that it doesn’t matter.

At the indoor baseball diamond and the arcade, Kim Kyung Nam and Ahn Eun Jin get competitive with each other in playing games, although Ahn Eun Jin usually ends up winning handily.

The date ends at a cute café in the evening, where Kim Kyung Nam takes a photo of Ahn Eun Jin blowing out a candle on the cake. He shows her the result and she laughs so hard and so long that the staff can’t tell if she’s acting or if it’s a blooper. Once the director says, “Cut,” the two actors burst out laughing even harder. He says, “I don’t think we can use this,” and she exclaims, “You made me look like ET!” Kim Kyung Nam tries again, but laughs again when he accidentally captures the camera director in the background. Finally, the camera director decides to directly take the picture that will be used in the drama.
