GOT7 BamBam is having a fruitful career even after leaving JYP Entertainment.

Seven years after first signing his contract with JYP, BamBam and the other six members of GOT7 decided to leave their agency but continue their activities as a group. The Thai idol took less than two months before choosing to sign with Abyss Company.

Although he found a new home, he received several accolades and opportunities last year – from MCing the Thai version of Simply K-pop Concert Tour to becoming the new beauty muse of YSL.

On June 15, he launched his solo debut EP, riBBon, and continuously expanded his power in different industries afterward.

Nearly a year since he made his debut, BamBam announced the follow-up album that will be released real soon.

GOT7 BamBam is Back!

On BamBam's official Twitter account, the male idol uploaded two teaser images for his second mini-album. Both photos have the date hinting at when it will arrive.

He asked his fans whether they are ready for BB2, which seemingly stands for BamBam 2. However, BamBam himself asked his followers what the word stands for, and people started commenting on what they think BB2 is.

One said BB1 stands for his 1st solo album, while BB2 is for the 2nd. The lucky fan received a reply from the idol, asking her if she thinks it is that simple.

Another hilariously commented a photo of Bananas in Pyjamas' characters B1 and B2.

For now, BamBam tries his best not to spill any spoilers about his upcoming EP, but fans can expect new teaser images and videos to come up soon.

GOT7 BamBam's Recent Project With Red Velvet's Seulgi

Before dropping his second mini-album, BamBam worked with Seulgi for his new single, Who Are You. The song's music video features the two idols performing a dance routine while flaunting their white ensembles.

The same video shows the male idol as he looks into a maze of mirrors in a forest. The single serves as his first solo song since signing with Abyss Company.

Through Who Are You and his upcoming album, BamBam is pursuing his goals as a soloist.

"Since this is the first time I've gone solo in Korea, I wanted to show that 'this is BamBam'," he said. "Rather than worry about the concept, I had bigger worries about my skills."

BamBam's second EP will arrive on January 18, 2022.
