Active is one adjective that can best describe the energy of the Air Jordan 4 this year as it has already been released in a slew of striking colorways and has an array of iterations that are in line to drop in the coming months. One of the latter is the Air Jordan 4 “Zen Master” which, after surfacing via early imagery at the top of 2022 has now been revealed via official images.

Production numbers of New Balance‘s sneaker offerings are expected to ramp up extensively this season, and one silhouette that will be part of this is the 2002R. While the silhouette is primarily known as a lifestyle-focused offering, the brand has elected to add protective elements to it that make it more appropriate for hiking trails.

2015 was a pivotal year for as it was the first year that Kanye West started releasing collaborative products with the brand and culture-shifting silhouettes such as the UltraBOOST debuted to the market. The latter became an icon in its own right as it had co-signs from West, Jerry Lorenzo and more, and was released in an abundance of colorways both collaborative and GR. One of the iterations that won the hearts of many sneakerheads across the globe was the adidas UltraBOOST 1.0 “Cream,” and it looks like it will be getting another restock.

Raf Simons has built a strong profile in the footwear industry, building on his work with adidas Originals with his own (RUNNER) line that has gone on to deliver some of the scene’s most accessible yet avant-garde styles around. But, if pairs such as the Cycloid-4-2001 and Cylon-22 sneakers are too daring for you, then fear not, as Raf Simons has just dropped a duo of Astra slides for Spring/Summer 2022.

Blends and Vault by Vans have a rich collaborative history of working together on footwear, and this season the two entities are reuniting for a brand new collection. This oft-seen SoCal link-up is gearing up for expansion with a trio of OG Style 36 LX colorways, all of which have been named under the Blends x Vault by Vans OG Style 36 LX “Magic Tape” Pack. The “Magic Tape” nickname is has an element of duality to it as it nods to the streetwear retailer’s Japanese heritage and how Velcro is often called “magic tape” in Japan.

Jordan Brand has every intention of producing its popular Air Jordan 1 model in high volumes this year, and one variation that is expected to receive a generous amount of makeovers is the Air Jordan 1 Low OG. It’s been confirmed that the silhouette will be dropping in a UNC-inspired colorway and in collaborative form with Travis Scott, but one more iteration has just been added to its 2022 arsenal: the “Bleached Coral” makeup.

And South Korea’s Kasina are gearing up for a new collaborative release. The duo’s upcoming Nike Air Max 1 x Kasina honors cross-cultural story-telling and heritage, much like how sneaker collecting has become vital to building relationships in streetwear. Also known as the “Made To Be Together” set, the kicks are inspired by the Korean custom of gifting Won-Ang Ducks to newlywed couples. Representing everlasting love, Won-Ang stands for the importance of relationships between all people.

Following the introduction of a to the “Sun Club” series earlier in April, Bruce Kilgore‘s iconic silhouette returns to the summer lineup once again as a clean two-tone take. The upcoming Nike Air Force 1 Next Nature “Sun Club” arrives in white textured hemp uppers with tan Swooshes and blank heel tabs.
