“Lost in Space” topped the streaming ratings for the second consecutive week following the release of the third and final season of the Netflix science fiction series, according to figures released Thursday by Nielsen.

Viewers spent 1.018 billion minutes watching the series’ 28 episodes between Dec. 6-12, including the eight-episode third season, which was released Dec. 1. Viewing was heavily skewed toward Season 3, with the finale being the most watched.

Viewership decreased 15.7% from the 1.207 billion minutes watched the previous week.

“CoComelon” was second for the second consecutive week with 835 million minutes watched, 6.2% more than the 786 million minutes watched the previous week.

There were three programs in the latest top 10 not in the previous week’s.

The Netflix Spanish crime drama, “Money Heist,” was eighth with 426 million minutes watched of its 46 episodes, including its final five which were released Dec. 3.

The medical drama “Grey’s Anatomy” returned to the top 10 for the first time since the week of Sept. 20-26, placing ninth with 398 million minutes watched of its 382 episodes available on Netflix.

“Supernatural” cracked the top 10 for the first time since the week of March 29-April 4, placing 10th with 371 million minutes watched of the 328 episodes of the 2005-20 The WB/The CW horror series available on Netflix.

The miniseries “True Story,” the Jane Campion-directed psychological thriller “The Power of the Dog” and the real estate documentary “Selling Sunset” all dropped out of the top 10. All three stream on Netflix.

Eight of the top 10 stream on Netflix and one each on Disney+ and Amazon Prime Video, the Marvel Cinematic Universe miniseries “Hawkeye,” and the epic fantasy series, “The Wheel of Time.” Nielsen also announces streaming viewership of Apple TV+ and Hulu programming.

The top 10 consisted five series that originally aired on a U.S. broadcast network; four original streaming series; and “CoComelon,” the 15- episode 3D animated series of videos of traditional nursery rhymes and original children’s songs that originated on YouTube.

The top 10 programs were “Lost in Space”; “CoComelon”; “NCIS”; “Criminal Minds”; “Seinfeld”; “Hawkeye”; “The Wheel of Time”; “Money Heist”; “Grey’s Anatomy”; and “Supernatural.”

The figures reflect only television-set viewing, including such television-connected devices as Roku and Apple TV. Mobile-only viewing is not included in Nielsen’s streaming measurement systems.
