Greenwich Chamber of Commerce is hosting a networking event at Greenwich Historical Society, 47 Strickland Road, Cos Cob on Thursday, September 29 at 5:30 p.m. This event is open to the public and, weather-permitting, will be both indoors and outdoors. Enjoy light bites, gift drawings and beverage. After the presentation attendees will be able to visit the historic Barn and Museum Galleries featuring local art and history.
The Friends of Greenwich Point holds final Summer Concert on Saturday, October 1 from 3:30pm-5:30pm with Pete Francis & the Dragoncrest Collective. A songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist, Pete Francis founded the band Dispatch while still a student at Middlebury College. He performed, toured and wrote songs with the band in the United States until 2001 and then again in Europe and Australia from 2009-2013. Along the way, a 2004 concert in Boston made history as the largest independent music event of its kind.
Joseph Vincent Malone, Jr, 85, of Greenwich, CT passed away at King Street Rehab on September 20, 2022. Joe was born in Port Chester on September 25, 1936, to Elizabeth Nethercott and Joseph Vincent Malone. He went through the Port Chester public school system starting at Edison School, the Junior High and graduated from Port Chester Senior High School in 1954. In 1961 Joe married Virginia Sheridan at Our Lady of Mercy Church in Port Chester.

He will bring his suitcases full of exotic animals and one by one, he will show and tell, surprising and teaching children about each one, including birds, lizards, alligators, a tarantula, a hedgehog, a bunny, and snakes including his eight foot python!
