Paladins: Champions of the Realm is about to enter a new war front with the new mode known as Siege: Beyond. It's pretty much Siege but with something new. This is actually a living game mode, planned to evolve throughout the year with the introduction of Schisms.

The first Schism, or change, is the Item Store. There will be three focused tracks - Support, Tank, and Damage - along with one Universal track. For any given stage of the store, players can only choose one of the three available items. The development team shared in a post that by doing this, they hope it would become easy for new players to learn the game. There will be 12 stages of items that players can choose from as well as some new types of items.

There's a total of three Schisms with the second one scheduled to arrive in Patch 3 and the third one in Patch 5.

Right Hand of the Tribunal

A new champion is arriving in the game to bring order to the chaos that's already sweeping the realm. Prepare to meet VII, the right hand of the tribunal. He is willing to take on missions that are sure to break most men and is not afraid to make use of ruthless force and deadly precision.

Here's a peek into what he brings to the battle:

  • Explosive Dodge [Ability 1]
    • Dodge 30 units in one of four directions, dropping an explosive trap that has three explosions, dealing 250 damage for each explosion.
    • The explosions have an effective radius of 35 units and two explosives can be out at once.
    • The traps explode every 0.45 seconds.
  • Grappling Hook [Ability 2]
    • Grapple to walls and stick to them for up to 5 seconds, becoming stealthed for the duration.
  • Order 77 [Ultimate]
    • Target enemies with your Mask, locking onto them, dealing 250 damage, and fearing them for 2 seconds.
    • Can target up to 5 enemies and the duration is 5 seconds.

Paladins: Champions of the Realm is a free-to-play online hero shooter video game released in 2018. The game is available on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
