Thanks to an abundance of Christmas Nespresso and Keurig gifting, it seems like lots of folks we know are making their own coffee at home most mornings this winter. But the appeal of a hot breakfast sandwich is tempting enough that sometimes, even after making coffee at home, you still slink out to Starbucks for a drive-thru breakfast. But it doesn’t have to be that way thanks to Costco.
Earlier this week, Costco brought back its savory breakfast pastry that tastes just like Starbucks’ ham and cheese croissants, but without that unappetizing Starbucks price tag. You can buy a four-pack of these delicious bites for just $8.99 and have breakfast at home for the majority of your work week.
“These flaky ham pastries include a bechamel cheese sauce and provolone cheese,” the Instagram account @CostcoBuys wrote over a video of the bakery item. “They’re SO good warmed up.”
Costco also sometimes has a deal where you can mix and match two pastry containers for the price of one, so you might even be able to score two packs for that price, depending on your local Costco.
Last year, CostcoHotFinds shared how they heat up the Ham & Cheese Pastries in their air fryer (though a regular toaster oven would do a nice job, too). Just look at how cheesy and flaky these things are.
