The mysterious 15th Winterfest present has finally been revealed. For a while now, many of us who have been eagerly unwrapping the free gifts over the course of the event have been wondering what the final present would be. With nothing left to unwrap and a looming "1" remaining in the tabs, we could only speculate whether this was a glitch or an intentional outcome.

Well it turns out that it was, in fact, an error. Despite this, Epic Games has decided not to dampen the festive cheer and provide players with a new reward to say sorry. The Crescent Shroom pickaxe will be rewarded to eligible players, so here's what you need to know.

How to Get the Crescent Shroom Pickaxe in Fortnite Chapter 3, Season 1

In order to receive the Crescent Shroom pickaxe, players will need to have logged in at least once during the Winterfest event. The reward will be handed out to eligible players on Jan. 7, at 7 p.m. ET.

Those who didn't login during Fornite's Winterfest event will still have a chance to obtain the pickaxe, though not for free. The Crescent Shroom pickaxe will be heading to the item shop at a later date. It's unclear how much the cosmetic will cost, but players can likely expect the standard 800 to 1200 V-Bucks.

Epic have yet to reveal what the pickaxe will look like, though data miners have already put in the work. Check out below to have a glimpse at the cosmetic's alleged upcoming appearance.
