As we start a new year, many of us will be thinking of ways to revamp our style for 2022. New year, new you, right? It's no wonder then, that even when you're an A-Lister celebrity like Paris Hilton, the temptation to switch up your look for the year ahead is very much there.
Taking to Instagram this week, Paris (who is currently on her honeymoon in the Maldives) showed off one helluva hair transformation – revealing she's swapped her trademark blonde locks for a bubblegum pink bob. Yep, in a total overhaul of her aesthetic, the 40-year-old smiled for the camera and paired her new pink hair with a stylish pink bodysuit to match.
''Kid at heart forever & ever...' she wrote in the caption, which prompted plenty of followers and celebrity friends alike to take to the comments section. 'Omg so cute' said one Instagram user, 'We love to see it' added someone else, while a third referenced Paris' iconic catchphrase: 'Loves it.'
Her mum Kathy Hilton, who starred on the most recent season of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, simply said: '💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕.'
But all is not quite as it seems, with many suspecting the new 'do is, in fact, a wig. That's not to say the reality TV star turned DJ looks any less fabulous though. After all, wigs are the perfect option if you fancy switching up your look without the commitment – à la hair chameleon Kylie Jenner.
