The fight between Fushiguro and Reggie begins in the latest chapter of Jujutsu Kaisen! Megumi finally figures out Reggie's cursed technique, which is contractual re-creation. Reggie gets to manifest whatever is written on a receipt. This probably explains his character design, considering his outfit looks like multiple pieces of paper. Who's going to win the fight?

Megumi attacks with his elephant shikigami. Reggie manages to avoid it and traps the rabbit shikigami in a net. As a counterattack, he throws multiple knives at Megumi. At this point, Megumi has already figured out Reggie's cursed technique — contractual re-creation. Reggie demonstrates it by using a receipt from a five-star Japanese inn which results in him getting the treatment of whatever was on the receipt. Reggie tells Megumi that they both can't really do much with their fight at this point due to their limitations. Megumi agrees and decides to run away.

However, Reggie chases after him. The two of them end up in a gymnasium. Both of them assume that one is planning something against the other. Two trucks suddenly crash into the gymnasium, and Megumi remembers what Reggie said about both of them lacking in grand moves. Reggie continues with a series of attacks that further injure Megumi. He tells Megumi to give him his points so he can get away with an easy death.

Megumi turns the tables on Reggie and tells him about barrier techniques. It turns out he lured Reggie into the gymnasium so he could do his domain expansion. Megumi tells Reggie he never said he didn't have any big moves. Reggie is surprised by Megumi's level of sorcery.
