O'Regan was reassigned to AHL San Diego on Wednesday.
The Ducks are pretty shorthanded up front due to the NHL's COVID-19 protocols as well as several injuries, so it wouldn't be surprising to see O'Regan back with the big club ahead of Thursday's matchup with Detroit. O'Regan's gone scoreless through one top-level appearance this season.
