Did The Book of Boba Fett Bring Back Star Wars The Clone Wars Character?

The second episode of The Book of Boba Fett may have brought us back to the past and shed some light on how the Tuskan Raiders lived with the former bounty hunter. However, Chapter Two also featured the live-action debut of a Star Wars Legends character who might be working for someone we already met in the Clone Wars movie! SPOILERS AHEAD, PROCEED WITH CAUTION!

In The Book of Boba Fett Episode 2, we saw more characters who are not quite happy with the new Daimyo. As Fett is leaving The Sanctuary, he is accosted by Jabba the Hutt's relatives who are referred to as The Twins. The two Hutts insist that they have a stronger claim to the throne since they are part of Jabba's family. But despite calling on Black Krrsantan to intimidate Fett, the Twins left without getting the throne from the new Daimyo.

It isn't a huge surprise that the Hutts are determined to gain control of Tatooine after Jabba's death but who exactly are the Twins? The appearance of the male twin has Star Wars fans wondering if Rotta the Hutt has grown to become just as fearsome as his father.

Rotta was initially introduced in the Clone Wars movie where he was kidnapped by the Confederacy of Independent Systems in a scheme orchestrated by Count Dooku. It is later revealed that Jabba's son, who is nicknamed Stinky by Ahsoka Tano, was abducted with the help of his own great-uncle Ziro.

So is it possible that Stinky is now a grown Hutt who is ready to take over his father's palace? It is important to remember that Rotta was never mentioned to have a twin in The Clone Wars. Although it is unlikely that Stinky is one of the Twins, it's safe to say that they are related to Jabba's son. Additionally, we're hoping that Rotta might get his big comeback in the Ahsoka series instead.

The Book of Boba Fett Episode 2 is now streaming on Disney+.
