Pets of the Week: Prince, Mia and Nami Are Looking for Forever Homes

By Sharon Aron Baron

This week, the Humane Society of Broward County has some beautiful pets that have been there for some time. All adoptions include spaying or neutering, vaccinations, a microchip,  treatment for flea and ticks, and much more.

Prince

Prince (ID A648787) would love to be part of your royal family. Sadly, his family could no longer afford to keep him, so now he needs to find another family to love.

The Humane Society offered the owner assistance, but they declined the help. Prince is a great fellow who is good with other pets, loves people of all ages, playing with toys and belly rubs.

Thanks to Dolly’s Dream, his adoption fee is sponsored, and he gets to go home with goodies to help him settle into his new home.

Mia and Nami

Seven-year-old sisters Mia (ID 650389) and Nami (650390) were brought to the shelter after their elderly owner moved into a nursing home.

The girls are just beautiful and are looking for a home where they can stay together. They have not previously lived with other pets or kids and will do best in a quieter home. Can you make them part of your family?

To meet a pet, fill out a pre-adoption application online at www.humanebroward.com. Once completed, visit the shelter located at 2070 Griffin Road, a block west of I-95,  opening daily at 11 a.m. For questions, call 954-989-3977 ext. 6.

Adoptions are $300 for puppies five months and younger,  $150 for dogs six months and older, $100 for kittens five months and younger, and $40 for cats six months and older (Adopt one, get one free).

Prince, Mia and Nami.

Located at 2070 Griffin Rd, in Fort Lauderdale.
