Bradley Cooper is an American actor, director and producer who became a household name in 2005’s“Wedding Crashers.” He has shown his acting versatility through roles in “American Sniper ” and “Silver Linings Playbook,” as well as directing and starring in “A Star Is Born.” His large filmographyalso includes the 2021 thriller “Nightmare Alley,” as well as “The Hangover,” “He’s Just Not That Into You,” “The A-Team,” “Joy” and “American Hustle.”

And as Cooper celebrates his 48th birthday on Jan. 5, he has much to look forward to in 2023 – projects that could boost a net worth that is estimated at $100 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth.

Coming from Cooper this year is “Maestro,” in which he stars as Broadway composer Leonard Bernstein. Casey Mulligan plays Bernstein’s wife, Felicia Montealegre, in the Netflix drama that Cooper also wrote and directed. While the release date hasn’t been announced, Netflix reportedly is targeting the fall.

Multiple media outlets also reported in November that Cooper will star in an upcoming film by director Steven Spielberg based on the San Francisco police detective, Frank Bullitt, played by Steve McQueen 55 years ago in “Bullitt.”

While Cooper takes in millions per film, he doesn’t necessarily earn it in an upfront paycheck. Forbes reported that for the Oscar-nominated “A Star Is Born,” he earned a chunk of the film’s $150 million profit. Given the success of that movie, Cooper made Forbes’ 2019 list of top-paid celebrities with $57 million in earnings.

Cooper made his directorial debut with “A Star Is Born” in 2018. He and his co-star, Lady Gaga, took home the Grammy Award for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for the song “Shallow” from the film.

Cooper has been nominated for many awards for acting and directing, including Academy, Golden Globe and and Screen Actors Guild awards. He and Lady Gaga took home the Grammy Award for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for the song “Shallow” from “A Star Is Born.”

Early Life and Career

On Jan. 5, 1975, Bradley Charles Cooper was born to Gloria and Charles Cooper in Philadelphia. He discovered he wanted to be an actor while watching the film “The Elephant Man” with his father. He eventually graduated from Georgetown University with a bachelor’s degree in English and later earned a Master of Fine Arts from the Actors Studio Drama School at New School University in New York City.

In 1999, while still in college, Cooper landed his first role, appearing in an episode of “Sex and the City.” In 2001, he co-starred in his first film, “Wet Hot American Summer.” He was cast in the hit TV series “Alias” but left after a couple of seasons. He went on to star in the short-lived Fox series “Kitchen Confidential” in 2005, and things got even better for him when he won a small, but memorable role in the 2005 hit “Wedding Crashers.”

Four years later, he got the role in “The Hangover” that launched him into stardom.

Personal Life and Real Estate

Cooper was married briefly to actress Jennifer Esposito from 2006 to 2007, then engaged in a series of Hollywood relationships. After his divorce, he went public with his relationship with Renée Zellweger that lasted until 2011. He then was together with co-star Zoe Zaldana from 2011 to 2012. Soon after that breakup, he entered a two-year relationship with model Suki Waterhouse. He began dating model Irina Shayk in 2015. Before their breakup in 2019, the couple welcomed a daughter in March 2017. At the end of 2022, rumors flew that the two had reconciled after they were spotted together on more than one occasion.

Cooper is bi-coastal, residing part of the time in a 4,000-square-foot townhouse he paid $13.5 million for in New York City in 2018. Three years later, he bought a 4,400-square-foot Pacific Palisades, California, home in a forest-like setting for $4.8 million.

Architectural Digest reported that Cooper owned two other homes in Southern California at the time he made his most recent purchase: a Spanish-style bungalow in Venice bought in 2014 and a “contemporary Santa Monica mansion” bought in 2014 for $4.7 million.
