Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 and Z Flip3 owners in the US start receiving One UI 4.0

Samsung started seeding the One UI 4.0 update based on Android 12 for the Galaxy Z Fold3 and Z Flip3 last month and many markets got it, but it was just available to Verizon units in the US. Now, the rest of the US-based foldables can finally get the update too.

That includes Comcast and Xfinity mobile networks and the rest of the carrier-locked and unlocked units in the US. The firmware version for the locked variants is F711USQS2BUL7 and F711U1UES2BUL7 for the unlocked Galaxy Z Flip3. The Z Fold3's version is F926USQS1BUL7. It's important to note that the firmware versions are a tad higher than the ones that hit earlier units so Samsung may have fixed some issues along the way.

Additionally, the OS for both handsets comes with December 2021 security patch. And in case you are still waiting for the update, be patient as it should arrive in the following days.
