Emmerdale's Meena to be caught out over baby lies

Emmerdale fans will see Meena Jutla's lies start to catch up with her next week as Liam Cavanagh takes a look at her medical records.

Meena (Paige Sandhu) has spent the past couple of weeks lying to her ex-lover Billy Fletcher in a desperate attempt to win him back.

When Billy (Jay Kontzle) announced that he was ending things with Meena and reuniting with Dawn Taylor (Olivia Bromley) instead, the schemer tried to manipulate him by pretending to be pregnant.

Meena hoped that Billy could be lured back into her orbit following the "revelation", but when she was later caught up in the pub explosion, she pretended to have suffered a miscarriage.

In next week's episodes, Meena has reason to worry when Liam (Jonny McPherson) views her records at the surgery.

Meena has already tricked Liam into prescribing her diazepam, which she's using to drug her defenceless sister Manpreet Sharma (Rebecca Sarker).

When Liam looks at Meena's file, he's confused to find no mention of a pregnancy or miscarriage.

Liam is baffled further when he next sees Meena and spots blood seeping through a dressing on her wrist. This comes following an altercation between Meena and Manpreet, who's starting to fight back as time is running out.

Convinced that Meena is playing games, Liam warns her that he knows she faked a pregnancy and miscarriage.

Meena uses Liam's recent drunken state to her advantage, threatening to falsely accuse him of sexually harassing her at the Christmas party unless he drops this.

With Liam fearful over the consequences, will he back down? Or has Meena messed up by showing just how ruthless she can be?
