We're starting 2022 just as obsessed with Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson as we were last year (so, very). And while it looks like the pair are still happily coupled up, just a teensy bit of drama has emerged after his New Year's Eve special alongside Miley Cyrus. Now, fans are convinced Kim and the singer are feuding thanks to something quite major happening over on Instagram.
Back in December it was announced that Miley and Pete were pairing up to co-host a live New Year's Eve special. The duo did a number of TV appearances promoting the show, including an episode of The Tonight Show earlier in December in which Miley pretty openly shaded Pete's relationship with new girlfriend Kim, joking that it "should have been me" – referencing the pair's many dates and PDAs.
Doing her own rendition of Yvonne Fair's It Should Have Been Me, Miley serenaded Pete with the lyrics. "I said, it should have been me — ohhhhh, it should been me," she sang. "Pete Davidson, how you gonna do this to me?"
Well, it looks like what started has a joke may have actually turned into a drama, after Kim unfollowed Miley on Instagram. Miley Cyrus fan account, @MileyEdition, spotted the change, noting that Kim was following Miley on the 10th of December but as of Tuesday 4th January she had unfollowed.
We don't know when exactly all this unfollowing went down, especially since Kim seemed to have been in on the joke back in early December; 'liking' a post on Instagram about Pete and Miley's co-hosting gig after The Tonight Show appearance had taken place. However, plenty of fans since claimed that Kim's 'like' seemed to have disappeared from the post shortly afterwards, and from the looks of things it does seem that Kim really has unfollowed the Midnight Sky singer, while Miley continues to follow Kim.
