Tokyo 24th Ward Anime: What Is It About?
Tokyo 24th Ward or Tokyo 24-ku is an original sci-fi anime by Studio CloverWorks. The story unfolds on an artificial island in Tokyo Bay, where childhood friends Ran, Kouki and Shuuta navigate a drastic change in their relationship after a life-altering incident.
When the three friends meet again one year later, they are shocked to find that their phones ring simultaneously. To make things more horrifying, the caller is a supposedly dead friend who advises them to "choose the future." Judging from the posters and promotions, we expect these words to haunt the narrative. Will time-traveling be involved at all? As this is an original anime, there's little we can tell you, but stay tuned, as we get to start following the three friends who try to save their home in less than 24 hours!
