Chukwudi Iwuji cast as High Evolutionary in Guardians 3? That’s the latest Barside Buzz Guardians 3 rumor from ScreenGeek. Chukwudi Iwuji appears in Gunn’s Peacemaker DCEU show and was already known to be cast in Guardians 3. There has also been many rumors that the High Evolutionary will be the main antagonist of Guardians 3. I guess it makes a lot of sense to connect these two dots together. I don’t have a good line on whether the outlet have a good hit rate for scoops. However with a James Gunn rumor, you better get it right.
Gunn is renowned for debunking false rumors himself on social media. At time of publishing this article there was still no response from Gunn. My guess would be that if Gunn stays quiet on this one, then it is highly likely to be accurate. If Gunn comes out and rejects this rumor then we will be sure to update this article as we always do.

As said up top, we already knew Iwuji was in from set photos and the rumors around the main villain have always been High Evolutionary even before the movie was delayed by years. It seems that the buzz is that High Evolutionary is Rocket’s creator, which does make sense given the how the character was portrayed in the comics.
I love the Guardians movies, so I’m 100% ready to see how Guardians 3 plays out. Sadly we also know this will be the final adventure for this team of Guardians and perhaps James Gunn in the MCU. I get why the Guardians cannot go on forever. However, I would love to see Gunn back in the MCU at some point in the future.
