Credit: DisneyIf you have dining reservations at the popular Chef Mickey’s restaurant at Disney’s Contemporary Resort in the near future, Disney has put out a noise warning.
Disney’s Contemporary Resort, which is the only Disney World hotel that the Resort Monorail actually passes through, is a Deluxe Resort at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida which opened with the theme park property in 1971. Now, years later, the Resort hotel is undergoing some construction work as it is being majorly updated.
Disney not only updated the Resort hotel lobby, but is also working on room refurbishments. However, because of the construction happening at Disney’s Contemporary Resort, Guests dining at Chef Mickey’s may hear unwanted noise during their meals. The Walt Disney World website notes:
Guests dining at Chef Mickey’s may hear construction noise due to the refurbishment of nearby Guest rooms.
The construction noise may be heard as Chef Mickey’s is located right underneath some of the Resort rooms, which is where parts of the refurbishment work is happening. Please be patient and know that Disney is doing their best to not disrupt the Guest experience at Chef Mickey’s.

Dinner offerings begin with a first course including Chef Mickey’s Caesar Salad and Citrus-Poached Shrimp Salad, followed by a second course with signature items such as the Potato Gnocchi, Roasted Garlic Potato Gratin and Plant-Based Faro Wheat Fried Rice, as well as protein selections featuring Prime Rib, Traditional Roast Breast of Turkey and Salmon. And please save room to end your feast with the Pastry Chef’s sensational, family-style desserts!
