Roborock is known for its robot home cleaners and other cleaning appliances; at CES, they’ve just introduced the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra and the Roborock Dyad. With the S7 MaxV Ultra, Roborock is one step closer to offering truly autonomous floor cleaning, as this latest robot needs even less maintenance or operational input from users. The Dyad is Roborock’s first wet and dry all-in-one solution that vacuums, washes, and dries floors to eliminate dirt and messes from edge-to-edge.

The Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra
Anyone shopping for a robot vacuum likely knows that owning one is far from autonomous; you still have to ensure that the robot won’t get tangled up in cables, carpets, and other obstacles. Emptying the robot’s bin can be a daily chore, too, along with the other usual weekly or monthly maintenance.
With the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra, we’re seeing a robot vac that is one step closer to genuine floor cleaning autonomy. This vac can identify and adapt to items in its path — including carpets and other obstacles — and empty and maintain itself whenever necessary.
The S7 MaxV Ultra has a new Empty/Wash/Fill/Dock that will mean much less manual maintenance for owners. The mop gets automatically scrubbed during and after cleaning sessions, so it’s ready to go the next time. The dock also self-cleans during the mop washing process to keep it well-maintained. An auto-refill function allows the S7 MaxV Ultra to mop up to 3,227 square feet, which is 50% more than its predecessors, while the bin’s dust bag can hold up to seven weeks of dust and debris.
Combining the power of an RGB camera, a 3D structured light, and an all-new neural processing unit, the S7 MaxV Ultra can more accurately identify objects in its path so it can quickly adapt to clean around them, even in the dark. It can recognize and position furniture in the Roborock app, allowing users to quickly clean around certain areas with just a simple tap of an icon in the app.
This system even identifies rooms down to their unique flooring materials, so it can work out the best cleaning patterns, including such things as suction power and scrub intensity.
Using Roborock’s VibraRise technology, which combines sonic mopping with an automatic mop lift for transitioning smoothly over contrasting surfaces, the S7 MaxV Ultra can deliver effective high-intensity scrubs to tackle surface dirt. The vac also has a max suction power of 5100pa for a deeper clean for customers.

The Roborock Dyad
Robot vacs are great, but sometimes there are messes that even they can’t handle, and that’s where the Roborock Dyad comes in. This all-in-one solution will vacuum wash, and dry floors to get rid of dirt and messes!

Vigorously cleaning with every stroke, DyadPower uses two motors working separately to power three rollers, one in the front and two in the rear. These two motors enable the cleaning system to rotate in opposite directions, which allows the Dyad to lift both wet and dry messes in one sweep.
Edge to Edge cleaning isn’t a problem, either; two rear rollers span the head, so the Roborock Dyad can thoroughly clean along edges (even flush against the wall) to get all of that hard-to-reach dirt, dust, and debris. The Dyad has an agile cleaning head that can twist 180º to navigate around furniture easily. It can also detect tough stains; it will automatically increase the water flow and suction power for a solid clean when tough stains are found.
When you have a wet mess on the floor, the Dyad can suction it into its 620mL dirty water tank while simultaneously releasing freshwater onto the floor, working its rollers to remove all the dirt. Dyad’s multi-use functions make it ideal for cleaning up spilled coffee or even lifting milk and cereal at the same time.
Under its OMO brand, Unilever has created a unique cleaning solution formulated exclusively for Roborock that will help Dyad users remove stains from hard floors and ceramic tiles, leaving behind clean floors with a light tea-tree oil scent.
The Roborock Dyad has a 5,000mAh rechargeable battery, so it can run nonstop for up to 35 minutes while cleaning up to 3056 square feet. Its LED screen shows users the cleaning mode, battery life and even points out areas on the floor with a build-up of dirt. A voice alert system will let users know when to refill the water tank or charge the battery.
The Dyad’s rollers will automatically clean themselves for added convenience when you’re done cleaning, and it will top off its battery in its dedicated charging base. The Dyad seems a lot handier than most mops, that’s for sure.
