Iwundu wasn't available Monday for the Hawks' game in Portland after Atlanta didn't re-sign him when his 10-day contract expired Sunday, Keith Smith of Spotrac.com reports.

Iwundu went from the starting five to off the roster in just the span of three days, as the fifth-year forward played 43 minutes and logged 12 points and six rebounds as a member of the top unit in the Hawks' most recent game Friday against the Cavaliers. Though Atlanta entered Monday's game without eight players due to injury or COVID-19 health and safety protocols, the returns of Kevin Huerter and Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot were enough to cushion the loss of Iwundu on the wing.
