Coronation Street spoilers follow.
Coronation Street's Yasmeen Metcalfe faces a dramatic start to 2022 next week as her grandchildren finally tell her the truth about recent events.
Yasmeen (Shelley King) has spent weeks unaware of the full story behind Zeedan's money laundering arrangement with his father-in-law Hashim and the recent fire at Speed Daal. Hashim has since suffered a fatal heart attack.
In upcoming episodes, Yasmeen clears out a room for Stu Carpenter (Bill Fellows) after once again offering him a roof over his head. While doing so, she makes a shocking discovery.
In the aftermath, Alya (Sair Khan) convinces Zeedan that it's finally time they told their gran the truth.

Alya braces herself as she explains how Hashim forced Zeedan (Qasim Akhtar) to launder his dirty money through the Speed Daal books. Zeedan went along with these demands as Hashim was threatening him.
Yasmeen is shocked and angry over the revelation, but there are further confessions to take in as she realises that Zeedan also played a role in the fire that almost killed Stu.

Later, Yasmeen tries to focus on the big relaunch of the restaurant, which has been redecorated since the blaze.
Yasmeen makes a speech about family values and respect, but soon shows how disgusted she is by disowning Alya and Zeedan for what they did.
Can Yasmeen ever forgive her family for going behind her back? And could the new rift within the Nazir family spark suspicion?
Coronation Street airs these scenes on Monday, January 10 at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV.
