9-1-1: Lone Star fans are ready to head back to Firehouse 126! On January 3, season 3 of the hit Fox show will premiere, and it's safe to say, we can hardly wait. In fact, the anticipating has built even more after Rob Lowe, who plays Owen Strand, posted some adorable behind-the-scenes photos of him and his dog, Daisy.
In mid-December, Rob shared three snaps to Instagram: Two showing him and Daisy sleeping in a car on the way to set and then one of them all ready for a big scene. " Before and after: on the way to work (..almost there) vs. at work," Rob captioned the pictures.
Obviously, fans were thrilled for a bunch of reasons. For starters, seeing Rob and his dog is definitely cuteness overload. But if that wasn't enough, getting a glimpse of Rob back in character for the long-awaited season 3 sent folks into overdrive with happiness.
"Aww. so cute. I can’t wait till the new episode of 911 LoneStar starts in January," one fan wrote. "LOVE!!! @roblowe I Can’t wait for Lone Star to come back," said another. One person even went as far as calling Daisy their favorite member of the Lowe family. "Sorry Rob, this puppa is now my favourite Lowe."
Rob has been on 9-1-1: Lone Star since the first episode aired in January 2020. While not too much is known about what will happen in the season 3 premiere, after seeing the last episode of season 2, we know Owen, Grace, and Tommy have a lot of decisions to make.
