Elefantopia has revealed that McDROID will release on Nintendo Switch this week.
This game has fused arcade and real-time strategy genres, resulting in an experience that mixes farming with tower defense.
You will be challenged to upgrade your modular farming robot into a Battle Station, while being tasked with herding flocks of doggy bots, planting trees to cover the land and listening to giant lasers that talk back at you.
Pitched as “the love-child of R-TYPE and Dune II,” your priority will be to protect your shuttle and your crop against waves of mutants and mutations. You can either choose to fight them head-on by carrying a weapon or you can deploy weapons that will do the work for you.
McDroid will release digitally on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide on Wednesday 5th January 2022.
