General Hospital Spoilers: Drew Comforts Carly

The new year is getting off to a rough start in these GENERAL HOSPITAL spoilers! Maxie is looking for a fresh start, Mac and Laura put their heads together, Harmony offers Alexis support, Britt is wary of Victor, Anna joins forces with Felicia, and Drew offers a shoulder for Carly to lean on as Nina deals with a drunken Sonny!

As the New Year’s Eve party at The Savoy continues, Maxie wants to start 2022 off on the right foot. “Can we have a fresh start?” she asks someone. But who is it?

At the same party, Laura shares her concerns with Mac in the hopes of getting some help. “Free to do what?” he asks. Laura frowns and admits, “That’s what I’m afraid of.” But is she still concerned about Cyrus or is this all about Victor now?

Alexis isn’t terribly confident about her future as the new year looms, but Harmony tries to reassure her pal. “We both know you’re more than that,” she declares. But will Alexis listen?

Over at the hospital, Britt remains wary of Victor, who is strutting around like the cat who ate the canary. “You certainly have a lot to celebrate,” she grumbles. Is there anything she can do to stop him from taking over?

Felicia looks to Anna for help, and she barely needed to ask. “I am in,” Anna promises. “Whatever it takes.” But are they teaming up against Peter? Because it sounds like he might finally have woken up as Austin relays a message at the hospital. “The person he wants to see is you,” he reports.

Heartbroken over Sonny’s betrayal, Carly wants nothing more than to turn to her BFF, Jason. But in his absence, might his twin, Drew, be someone she can lean on? “Is it possible that you blame yourself?” he suggests to her as they talk on the footbridge. Meanwhile, Nina is struggling to deal with Sonny as he continues to drink and spiral out of control. “That pretty much says it all,” she sighs. How much worse will this get?
