The Pistons assigned Stanley to the G League's Motor City Cruise on Monday.

Detroit's team-wide COVID-19 outbreak looks to be nearing its end, as does Stanley's time with the NBA squad. With the Pistons set to return as many as six players from the health and safety protocols ahead of Monday's game against the Bucks, Stanley wasn't likely to be active for the contest even if he hadn't been assigned to the G League. After signing a 10-day deal with Detroit on Dec. 26, Stanley appeared in three games, averaging 10.7 points, 3.3 rebounds, 1.3 three-pointers and 1.3 steals in 27.3 minutes per contest. He'll likely stick around with the Cruise once his 10-day deal expires in the middle of the week.
