Morrissey logged two assists, six hits, two blocked shots and a minus-2 rating in Sunday's 5-4 overtime win over the Golden Knights.
Morrissey's helpers were big, as he set up Paul Stastny for a go-ahead goal in the third period and then found Kyle Connor for the game-winner in overtime. Morrissey has a goal and three assists in his last four outings. The 26-year-old blueliner is up to 13 points, 61 shots on net, 61 hits, 36 blocked shots, a plus-2 rating and 18 PIM in 31 outings overall. He should continue to see top-four usage, though he's a bit stronger in the physical categories than as a scorer.
