Temple finished with 14 points (5-12 FG, 4-9 3Pt), four assists, three rebounds and one steal in 25 minutes Saturday in the Pelicans' 136-113 loss to the Bucks.

With Brandon Ingram (Achilles) missing the last two games and Jonas Valanciunas (COVID-19 health and safety protocols) sitting out three of the past four, Temple has been one of several members of the Pelicans' supporting cast who has been thrust into a larger role. Temple has been able to capitalize on the opportunity by averaging 17.7 points and 3.7 three-pointers over the past three contests, but his strong run of production in both areas will soon come to an end. Not only has he shot an unsustainable 55.6 percent from the field and 47.8 percent from downtown over that stretch, but both Ingram and Valanciunas are listed as questionable ahead of Monday's game against the Jazz. Even if regression doesn't rear its head immediately, Temple will see his playing time and usage dip once one or both of Ingram and Valanciunas are cleared to play.
