Legendary Atlanta Falcons coach Dan Reeves passed away early on Saturday morning at the age of 77. Coach Reeves enjoyed a successful career in the NFL, participating in nine Super Bowls as a part of the Falcons, Cowboys, Broncos, and Giants football teams.

The Rome, Georgia native is the only person to have ever appeared in multiple Super Bowls as both a player and as a coach. He is also one of only nine coaches in NFL history with 200+ total wins and is ninth all-time with 201.

Coach Reeves was exceptional on the football field, but he will ultimately be remembered for who he was off the field just as much, if not more so, as he will be on it. Terance Mathis joined Sam & Greg to talk about that legacy and remember the man under the headset.

Greg asked Terance about what Coach Reeves would do off the football field that would make him laugh. Terance responded with a funny story in which Coach accidentally misspoke when announcing his name at practice to the amusement of his teammates. "Clarence" Mathis took it in stride and moments like these personified the relationship that Coach Reeves had with his players.

Coach Reeves and Terance Mathis piloted the "Dirty Bird" offense that propelled the Falcons to their first ever Super Bowl appearance. He left an impact on every organization that he was a part of and will certainly be missed.
