McLaughlin, Neil Age 78 of St Louis Park, passed away on December 23. He is survived by his wife, Joanne, children Brendan and Sarah (Kurt), grandson Kellan, brothers Paddy and John, sisters Margaret and Bridie. Preceded in death by his parents Patrick and Margaret, brother Mickey and sisters Ann and Cathy. Neil was born in Donegal Ireland, and lived in London, England and Rochester, New York before settling in Minnesota. He was an accomplished auto mechanic with a specialty in Rolls Royce and German auto repair. Neil loved discussing world affairs or sharing stories, as only an Irishman can do. He showed care and respect for all he met. His love of nature, animals and exploring will continue to live on through his children and grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, January 7 at 10:30AM, with a visitation starting one hour prior, at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 145 Jersey Ave. S. Golden Valley.
