Tom Henry For Mayor

In 2021, Fort Wayne continued to battle the national scourge of COVID-19, while attempting to navigate the latest bankruptcy announcement from garbage collection agency Red River. But the year also saw progress made, notably on the continuing work on the Electric Works campus and a greater development focus in the city's southeast quadrant.

At the end of every year, WBOI's Zach Bernard has a conversation with Mayor Tom Henry; this year's was conducted over the phone. Portions of this conversation aired on 89.1 WBOI on December 30 and 31.

In the fall, Henry announced incentives he would be offering city employees for receiving one of the COVID-19 vaccines. Their conversation began with Zach asking how that process has been going so far.
