New Year with new fitness goals
YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY-TV) With fitness always being the top New Year’s resolutions goal, gyms and fitness centers are expected to be busy again starting January 1st.
The top New Year’s resolution is fitness and improving your health.
“January first or second, when that New Year’s resolution is really hitting them and when they really decide, okay what do I want to change, what do I really want this year, what is my new year new me look like, that when we get a lot of people in,” said Christine Reese, Owner and personal trainer for ENC Personal Fitness.
Christine Reese is the owner and personal trainer at ENC Personal Fitness.
She's looking forward to helping locals reach their fitness goals in 2022.
Reese says she’s all about improving fitness and health and offers deals at the start of the new year to show support for people’s fitness plans.
“What we do for New Year is we a transformation challenge so that’s kind of geared to no matter where you are like no matter where your fitness level is you get to come in twice a week, work out with a group, get some good accountability which is a really great way if you are just starting out,” said Reese.
Kerri Boland says her goal is to continue her fitness journey all year long.
“Look at the long-term goal as a guide, but keep your short-term goals and go for it and just keep them realistic and attainable,” said Boland.
Setting a fitness goal can be easy but for most trying to be consistent is the hard part.
“Sometimes you just need somebody to help you get back on track and so we have a lot of experience and we’re just really excited to help people start 2022 off right,” said Reese.
If fitness is your new year’s resolution goal you can visit any local gym or fitness center to find out more about memberships, classes, or deals.
