March Madness, a term coined by CBS broadcaster Brent Musburger in 1982, is the name of the NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Tournament that takes place every spring. It is one of the favorite events for people who love discussing nba predictions and other aspects of the game. The tournament was first held in 1939, when it only featured eight teams and was known as the National Invitation Tournament (NIT). In 1951, the NIT was replaced by what we now know as the NCAA Tournament. Since then, the tournament has grown and now features 64 teams competing for a chance to be crowned national champions.
